Need some help getting around? Look for our Information Booths with our friendly volunteers ready to assist you on bathrooms, directions, security, booth activities, lost & found and other general inquires.
Photo opportunities with various super heroes, anime and colorful cosplay characters roaming throughout the grounds. All are available for photo’s with keiki and family.
With stations located at Beretania/Puncbowl street and Richards/Beretania street corners, take a load off for you and your family and explore the event grounds by boarding the CYD train. The fun-filled ride circles the perimeter of the State Capital grounds.
Located in the State Capital, our caring volunteers man the first aid station to treat minor emergencies. The American Medical Response ambulance and certified staff are also located on Punchbowl street.
Sponsored by Heather's Inflatables, inflatables of all sizes can be found on Kalanimoku and State Capitol grounds scattered around open areas.

Taking in all that Children and Youth Day has to offer builds a healthy appetite! Visit Punchbowl Street for an assortment of local food trucks and vendors! Portion of proceeds also benefit Children and Youth Day!
Five stages provide all day fun with music, dance performances, special guests and surprises! Stages located at Iolani Palace, Capitol Rotunda, Punchbowl Street, Kalanimoku Building and Hawaii State Art Museum.
We highly recommend carpooling, catching the city bus or even cycling! When parking, a variety of options for both free and paid parking are available.
Go plastic-free by bringing your own water bottle! We promotes being eco-friendly with Kokua Hawaii Foundation’s steel water refill station to provide free, filtered water. Visit the water stations at 5A, ‘Iolani Palace grounds by the Barracks and on Kalanimoku grounds on pathway between Kalanimoku and Honolulu Hale buildings.
A staple of the Children and Youth Day event, free goodie bags are distributed to all keiki at every information booth. In addition to actual keiki and family goodies, each goodie bag contains a keiki card which you can redeem for a prize at the Goodie Bag station located in the Capitol Rotunda. Keiki cards must be completely stamped by booth participants to be eligible for a prize.
Shaded trees and picnic areas for public use throughout the Capital District and cool areas for folks to rest and enjoy the activities at the Hawaii State Library grounds, the ‘Iolani Palace grounds, State Capitol grounds, Hawaii State Art Museum grounds, Kalanimoku Building Breezeways, Frank F. Fasi Civic Center and Punchbowl Street.
Family friendly area that provides families with young children an opportunity to learn about services and programs that are committed to keeping young children safe, healthy and ready to succeed.
Located throughout the State Capitol grounds. Fun and educational interactive activities for children grades K-6. Three main tents full of booth activities, games and prizes, with special sponsored tents from Kaiser Permanente, Kamaaina Kids, McDonalds, and Bayer.
Located on Kalanimoku Building. Fun, interactive, and educational activities for teens. Also provides information on risky behaviors and health issues, encourages healthy choices, and empowers positive behaviors and wellness.
Located on ‘Iolani Palace grounds, facing the State Capital. A memorable day of hula, mele, games and activities for the entire ‘ohana on the historic grounds of ‘Iolani Palace.
For expecting parents, find valuable resources and information from experts in the field of peri-natal and neo-natal. Breast feeding area is also available for expectant mothers. Interactive, educational and fun activities for expecting parents.
From Beretania to King, Punchbowl Street is closed to feature some of the larger CYD engagements including vehicles, stage performances, food vendors and more.
